Coaching Policy

All SDS coaches are hired as independent contractors after filling out an application, being interviewed by the parent board (if necessary), and signing the SDS coaching contract. Before January 31, each coach will receive a form 1099 stating the total payments from SDS for the previous year.

Swimmers are eligible to assist with SDS Bronze and silver practices as paid high school assistants beginning with the summer after the eighth grade year and continuing through the summer following the senior year.
